1. Can the Sohibul Qurban witness his/her Qurban during the slaughtering?
Yes. However, only a maximum of 1 additional witness is allowed to accompany the Sohibul Qurban should there be a request.
2. Any photo-taking is allowed during the slaughtering rites?
Photo-taking is allowed ONLY before the sheep is being slaughtered. STRICTLY no photo-taking or videography is permitted during & after the slaughtering rites.
3. Apart from the meat, can the Sohibul Qurban request for the head, leg or innards parts of the sheep?
The Sohibul Qurban shall be given the meat according to the portions indicated in their initial registration. All other parts shall be disposed of in accordance with Singapore Food Agency’s (SFA) strict regulations.
4. Can the Korban be performed by more than 1 person?
The Qurban will be performed for 1 person or collective name per Sheep.
The Participant (Sohibul Qurban) can dedicate to others in their personal capacity.
5. How will the balance/residual Meat be distributed?
The residual meat will be distributed to the community at large including needy families, beneficiaries, Homes, Organization fraternities, volunteers, networks & more.
6. Can the Qurban meat be sold?
Qurban meat is strictly not for sale.
7. Is the slaughter only for Qurban?
The Participant can pledge for Aqiqah, Sadaqah & Nazar together with Qurban.
