Details of the Bai’ Salam Contract and the Wakalah Contract

DETAILS OF THE BAI’ SALAM CONTRACT

A. Responsibilities of the Customer (Buyer)

  1. To order an animal for the purpose of Qurban/Aqiqah according to specifications such as estimated weight, breed type, price, and quantity as offered.
  2. To pay the required amount (in the designated currency) to purchase one or a portion of the sacrificial or Qurban/Aqiqah animal ordered.
  3. To agree to enter into a Wakalah (authorization to represent) agreement for the determination of the location for receiving the animal, slaughtering it, and distributing the meat to the Aliyah Rizq committee as outlined in the chosen package.

B. Responsibilities of Aliyah Rizq (Seller)

  1. To ensure that the ordered animal is delivered within the time frame of Qurban/Aqiqah at the agreed location based on the package purchased by the participant.
  2. If there is any defect or death of the Qurban/Aqiqah animal before it is received, Aliyah Rizq will replace it with another animal to fulfill the Bai’ As-Salam contract.
  3. If Aliyah Rizq is unable to deliver the Qurban/Aqiqah animal as agreed, the Aliyah Rizq management will either refund the money paid to the participant or reschedule the slaughter according to mutual agreement.

DETAILS OF THE WAKALAH CONTRACT

C. Responsibilities of the Customer (Representative)

  1. To delegate Aliyah Rizq to specifically determine the location for receiving the Qurban/Aqiqah animal and the exact date for receiving it at the location and within the specified time frame for the Qurban/Aqiqah of the current year.
  2. To delegate Aliyah Rizq to determine the date of implementation of the Qurban/Aqiqah, except for certain specific packages.
  3. To delegate Aliyah Rizq to choose the location for the implementation of the Qurban/Aqiqah, and Aliyah Rizq also has the right to change the location within the same country if unavoidable issues arise, except for certain specific packages.
  4. To delegate the Aliyah Rizq committee to slaughter, skin, and distribute the meat to the eligible target groups selected by Aliyah Rizq.
  5. If the customer wishes to cancel the transaction after the implementation has been handed over to the Aliyah Rizq program committee, all related costs will be borne by the customer.
  6. For Qurban in SAUDI, no before and/or after photos will be provided. Instead, a Qurban certificate will be provided to customers.
  7. For Qurban in INDONESIA, MALAYSIA, and YEMEN, before and after photos will be provided within 1-2 months after slaughtering.
  8. For Qurban in TANZANIA, Uganda, and SYRIA, only after photos will be provided within 1-2 months after slaughtering.
  9. Meat slaughtered in INDONESIA, MALAYSIA, TANZANIA, UGANDA, YEMEN, SAUDI, & SYRIA will be distributed locally in the respective communities to the needy.

D. Responsibilities of Aliyah Rizq (Recipient of the Representative’s Delegation)

  1. To determine the specific location for receiving the animal and to accept the animal purchased by the participant based on the selected package.
  2. To ensure the slaughter of the Qurban/Aqiqah animal is carried out on behalf of the participant according to the conditions and proper etiquette prescribed by Shariah, such as ensuring the animal is healthy, without defects, and of the appropriate age, and then distributing the meat to eligible groups.
