Aliyah Rizq Holdings Pte Ltd, originally established as ‘Aliyah Rizq Farm’ in 2015, began its journey as a family-run business with a modest 2-acre backyard farm in Mersing. With a humble start of 30 goats and sheep, the primary focus was on providing aqiqah and qurban services to the Muslim community.
Over the years, the company evolved and expanded its operations, relocating in 2017 to a spacious 25-acre site in Bio Desaru. The establishment of the sister company ‘Agropreneur Farms Sdn Bhd’ marked a significant milestone.
Currently, the farm is a thriving home to over
500 livestock, including sheep, goats, horses, and alpacas. Further growth led to the acquisition of 200 acres in Desaru in 2022.
Recognizing the increasing demand for livestock during qurban and limited supply, Aliyah Rizq Holdings expanded internationally in 2018, venturing into Indonesia with the creation of ‘PT Aliyah Rizq Agriculture’ in Medan. Functioning as a social enterprise, the company supports low-income and less-skilled farmers in Indonesia, with 4 farms under its flagship and a network of over 300 contract farmers.
In 2023, Aliyah Rizq Africa Limited was established in Kenya, serving as the headquarters for breeding, trading, and exploring potential markets in the Middle East and Asia. This move aligns with recent bilateral ties between Indonesia, Singapore, and Kenya for the purpose of meeting the growing demands for agricultural produce.
To address the increasing local demands, a quarantine facility was set up in Indonesia for the export of livestock from Indonesia to Malaysia. This initiative not only ensures a secure and reliable source of high-quality livestock but also curtails the challenges associated with livestock smuggling across the Thailand borders. To date, over 5000 healthy and high-quality sheep have been successfully exported.
Our commitment to societal welfare is epitomized during qurban festivities, where we annually sacrifice over 7000 sheep. This dedication has allowed us to serve and assist more than 100,000 beneficiaries, mainly comprising the needy, each year.
Headquartered in Singapore, Aliyah Rizq Holdings oversees operations in Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Kenya, with plans for further expansion into Thailand, UAE, and the UK. The company is driven by a passionate belief in its social enterprise business model, aiming to bridge the needs of farmers and communities across borders.
